A lifestyle communications agency in New York is looking for two eager PR interns for our consumer products division. This is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of public relations and gain much needed hands-on experience with beauty, food and lifestyle clients. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, personable, organized, and professional. This is a non-paid position, which requires a laptop.
INTERN DUTIES AND TASKS:
-Monitor, clip and scan essential client press
-Assist with client press reporting
-Research, compile press kits & build media lists
-Assist in creating gift bags, supporting events
-Support administratively as needed
-Assist with digital engagement marketing
INTERN REQUIREMENT:
-Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop
-Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, and PR majors preferred
-Laptop
-Minimum commitment of 2-3 days/week from 9:00am-6:00pm
